The Dutch/Finnish Town of Saints started in 2010, when Harmen Ridderbos (lead vocal/guitar) and Heta Salkolahti (violin/vocals) met each other in the mountains of Austria. The following five years the duo toured extensively throughout Europe showing their upbeat indie-folk. Their debut album Something To Fight With (2013) was acclaimed mainly in the Netherlands, as well as outside their home country, allowing they to perform in over 130 live shows, throughout 11 European countries.
Now, they present their new album No Place Like This (Snowstar Records / Caroline International) where they mix tropical and darker influences. The single with the same name ‘No Place Like This’ is a journey that describes the ambiguity between modern life and nature, adopting a position on the rationality of our modern society.
