After announcing the first week of September the first titles of its lineup, the Musical Documentary Film Festival In-Edit has confirmed today a second batch of films for the edition of 2017, in which it will celebrate its 15th anniversary. The event, which will take place from October 26 to November 5 in Barcelona and from October 26 to 29 in Madrid, will show on the official section "XTC-This is Pop" about british band XTC, "I am Gagarin" about the irruption of the rave scene in the early 1990s in the extinct Soviet Union, "When God Sleeps" about the day-to-day of the Iranian Shahin Najafi and the fatua who has put a price on his head for blasphemy or "Where You're Meant To Be", in which former Arab Strap Aidan Moffat toured Scotland in a van making covers of folk classics.
On the other hand, in the Excedlents section will be programmed "Residente", which deals about the Puerto Rican rapper René Pérez Joglar and the search of its origins through this DNA after ending famous band Calle 13, "The Public Image is Rotten" where John Lydon reviews his career with P.I.L. or "Eagles of Death Metal Nos Amis" that tells about the return to Paris of the American band when they try to finalize the fatal concert interrupted by terrosist attack at Bataclan.
In addition, the festival organization has announced that this year will born the section KM.0, where several civic centers (La Sedeta, Albareda, Fort Pienc, Sant Martí and Farinera del Clot) will screen various documentaries related to the local scene.
