One week before it will be on stores, London Glass Animals (that leave us with a good taste in our mouth few weeks ago on London Calling Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam) have uploaded to their Soundcloud profile their debut LP ZABA in full. The Lp has been produced by band singer Dave Bayley and recognised Paul Epworth (responsible of last Coldplay LP, all the discography of Friendly Fires or Florence & the Machine and also successful 21 by Adele), and includes Pools or Black Mambo songs that bringed them to be compared by the British press as the new ALT-J. on the press note that the band has send to the media they inform that LP’s name “came from one of the favourite child tales of Dave, ‘The Zabajaba Jungle’ by William Steig, where a boy enter in a mysterious place full of surrounding birds and insects, petrified monsters and Carnivorous plants, for later being kidnapped by a band of apes. This apes present the guy to 3 judges with human body and animal head, but after a batch of adventures he escape and thanks to a butterfly he founds the exit, where their parents were waiting for him in a small room that is inside a great crystal jar. So, ZABA wants to be “a wild trip that make you deep inside your loneliness”. Dave also wants to point how people damage nature for being this the main point of an album where you can find influences from Kanye West, Charles Darwin, Nina Simone or The Velvet Underground”.
