Spanish new festival WAM Estrella de Levante 2017 confirms first names

After weeks of rumors that were clarified just a few days ago, the festival that replaces the SOS Festival 2017 in Murcia is now a reality with the announcement of the first confirmations of the WAM Estrella de Levante, which will be the name of the new festival that will be held from 2 to May 7th. WAM Estrella de Levante 2017 combines a good range of international, national and local names in various cultural disciplines, focusing mainly on music, but without forgetting the cinema, dance and children's activities for the whole family.

Among the more than 30 names confirmed for the musical side stand out the international bets of White Lies, The Sounds, Fat White Family and Shura, while for the Spanish side have been confirmed bands like Lori Meyers, Sidonie, Fangoria, Los Enemigos, Niños Mutantes, Belako, Perro, Pablo Und Destruktion or Delorean, among many others.

In addition, as part of the program Somos Cine, will be projected in the Film Library of the Region of Murcia up to twelve musical documentaries that have been enjoyed in various editions of the In-Edit Festival as I Am Thor, Bird on a wire, Punk Attitude, as well as Spanish ones Autosuficientes or Lo Que Hicimos Fue Secreto. On the other hand Family WAM will be the label under which will be held up to six concerts focused on children's public in the Plaza Santo Domingo on 6 and 7 May. In it, bands like Nunatak, Dr. Sapo or Crudo Pimento ill present their unique and exclusive creations that will help to approach music to the whole family.

The two-day tickets are on sale for €20 on wammurcia.es, while the VIP tickets are €45. The offer is only available until Monday at noon or until the number of promotional tickets expires.
