As promised by the organisers of Barcelona Rock Fest 2025, today, Monday 4th November, a new band has been announced to join Judas Priest, Scorpions and Running Wild in the line-up.
The Iowa band Slipknot, led by the indestructible Corey Taylor, will be celebrating 25 years as a band in the Catalan capital on Thursday 26th June, during which time they have released albums that are already nu-metal history, such as their eponymous album Slipknot (1999) and Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) (2004). Also confirmed for Sunday the 29th is Scottish band Alestorm, who will bring their pirate-themed folk metal to the Can Zam stage.
Tickets and passes for the festival, which will take place from 26 to 29 June 2025 at the usual venue of Parc de Can Zam in Santa Coloma de Gramanet, are available on the festival’s official website, with prices ranging from €99 (+ booking fee) for the Thursday event to €235 (+ booking fee) for the 4-day pass.
