Just a few months after finishing their European tour in late 2017, Queen has confirmed 12 new concerts around Europe for this summer, including two dates in Spain. Two years after their last visit to Barcelona, the legendary British band will perform in Madrid and again in the Catalan capital with Adam Lambert as a singer, this time to present a super production based on the 40th anniversary of the album News of the World (1977), sixth album of their discography that includes hymns like "We will rock you" or "We are the champions". The dates chosen are June 9 at the WiZink Center in Madrid and a day later, on June 10, at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.
The pre-sale of tickets for Spanish shows will start on February 21 at 10 am on livenation and Fan Club, while the general sale will be available on Friday, February 23 at 10 am through livenation, Red Ticketmaster and El Corte Inglés.
