Staying true to their policy of a steady trickle of names, the organisers of Vida Festival confirmed yesterday, during the festival’s presentation party, around twenty names that will form part of the line-up for Vida Festival 2024.
This new batch of confirmations includes the presence of British band Ride and Granada’s Los Planetas, who have been the subject of rumours in recent days about a possible tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their legendary 1994 album Super 8. The Catalan festival will also feature Black Lips, El Columpio Asesino, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Matt Maltese, Warhaus, Rocío Saiz, Habla de Mí en Presente, Socunbohemio, Ciutat, Teo Lucadamo, Pipiolas, Club del Río, Airu, Llum, Pinpilinpussies, Tristán!, Okdw, Sara Terraza and Selva Nua.
The festival has also announced that there will be an ‘opening concert’ on 4 July, featuring Clara Peya and special guests such as Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Leo Rizzi, Salvador Sobral and many more.
Day tickets and season tickets for the festival, which will be held in Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona) from 4 to 6 July, are now available on the festival’s official website.
