British band The Cure has just announced its first major tour around Europe since 2008, which will bring them to 17 countries in Europe next fall. Although in recent years they have been headlining on most of the major European festivals such as Werchter, Hurricane, BBK, Optimus Alive! or Primavera Sound, besides a set of exceptional concerts in London, this will be the first time in nearly a decade that the band of Robert Smith will visit 30 big European venues, highlighting three shows in Spain and one in Amsterdam in November.
The tour, nammed 'The Cure 2016', will help the group to go over the great successes that have produced over 37-year career, mixing them with oddities and even unreleased songs, and they will have as supporting band the Scottish band The Twilight Sad . Presale tickets will go on sale on Thursday 3rd December at ten o'clock through the web of Live Nation.
