The organisers of the Alma Festival Barcelona 2024 have today announced two new names for the final day of the festival, completing the line-up. Mexico’s Lila Downs and local band Muchachito Bombo Infierno will complete the bill on 21 July, which also includes Queens Of The Stone Age, Alice Cooper, Glen Hansard, Sheryl Crow, Vetusta Morla and Take That, among others.
Mexican singer Lila Downs will bring her connection to the musical roots of Mexico and Latin America to Barcelona. She will present her latest album, La Sánchez (2023), in which she fuses folklore, jazz and pop. On the other hand, Muchachito Bombo Infierno will offer one of his usual concerts, full of energy and rhythm thanks to his mixture of rumba, rock and flamenco. The band, led by Jairo Perera, is bringing its latest album, Qué puede salir mal (2024), to the stage of the Poble Espanyol, in which we can find approaches to swing and funk.
Tickets for the various concerts of the festival, which will take place from 24 June to 21 July at the Poble Espanyol on Barcelona’s Montjuic hill, are available on the festival’s official website.
