It seems that we are gradually getting to know the line-ups of the main festivals that will be taking place in our country next year. If a few weeks ago it was Primavera Sound, now it is the turn of another classic of the national festival scene, the Azkena Rock Festival, whose 2025 edition will be held from 19 to 21 June at the Mendizabala in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
This first batch of confirmations includes The Flaming Lips performing their 2002 album Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots, Manic Street Preachers, P.I.L., Buzzcocks and Lucinda Williams. In addition to these names, we can also find old festival favourites such as The Hellacopters, Dead Kennedys and Turbonegro, while the national scene will be represented by Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimba, Quique González and the band from the film La Estrella Azul.
Tickets for the festival will go on sale on Wednesday 20 November at 10am on the official festival website at a still undisclosed promotion rate. Those who have attended previous editions will be able to access an exclusive pre-sale on the same website from Friday 15 November until 9:59am on 20 November.
