As announced last week by Concert Studio, the organisers of the ALMA Festival, the first names of the performers for the Madrid edition of the festival have been announced today. The British band Deep Purple, one of the pioneers of heavy metal and hard rock, Jamie Cullum, Vetusta Morla and Valeria Castro are the first acts to perform at the festival, which will be held in Tierno Galván Park from 30 May to 17 June.
According to festival director Martín Pérez, each city will have its own eclectic programme, with only two or three names in common. “It won’t be a manufactured festival, we’re going to replicate Barcelona’s boutique model, with one concert a day and a smaller stage for emerging artists. There are 15 dates in a venue capable of holding 7,000 to 9,000 people per day depending on the format of the show (standing, seated or mixed).“.
Tickets for the concerts at both venues of the festival, with different prices depending on the event, are now available on the official website of the festival.
