With just over a month to go, the Cruïlla Festival of Barcelona has today announced the line-up for the 2024 edition, which will take place between 10 and 13 July at its usual venue, the Parc del Fòrum, with The Smashing Pumpkins, Pet Shop Boys, Avril Lavigne and Kasabian as the main headliners.
The festival kicks off on Wednesday 10 July with a night dedicated to urban music, with María Becerra and the Sabadell band 31 FAM as the main attractions. As far as overlapping is concerned, the one between the Argentinian YSY A and the local Rojuu is surprising. The second day of the festival, which has been dedicated to Latin music for several editions now, will bring us illustrious figures from different dance genres, such as Oscar D’León and Chucho Valdés, as well as overlaps between Olga Tañón (La reina del merengue) with Albert Pla or Ladilla Rusa with La Plazuela.
With the festival in full swing, it’s Avril Lavigne, The Kooks and DePedro‘s turn on Friday 12th, while Amaral and Selah Sue share much of their time, as do Leicester’s Kasabian and La Paloma. Finally, Saturday 13th will kick off with Calexico, Johnny Marr or Pet Shop Boys, leaving us with probably the most painful time slot of the festival, with The Smashing Pumpkins and Aurora sharing the same slot.
We remind you that full festival tickets and day tickets for the Cruïlla Festival 2024 are already on sale at the official festival website from €53 for a single day pass, from €135 for a weekend pass and from €155 for a 4-day pass (+ booking fee in all cases).
