After announcing the first names in October and confirming a second batch of artists in mid-December, the organisers of the Catalan Cruïlla Festival have today completed the line-up for the 15th edition of the festival, which will take place from 9 to 12 July 2025 at its usual venue, the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona.
Among the new names confirmed today we can highlight the presence of the Sex Pistols with Frank Carter as singer, new pop queens such as Gracie Abrams and the double presence of the Spanish band Love of Lesbian, with a special concert with friends on the final day.
On Wednesday, Gracie Abrams, Girl in Red and Trashi from Murcia will open the festival. Thursday night will see a change of paradigm, as the misnamed Latin dance night will be abandoned in favour of rock punk with the Sex Pistols, St. Vincent and Fermín Muguruza. At the weekend, Friday’s headliners will be Thirty Seconds To Mars, Texas, Ben Harper, Leon Bridges and locals Alcalá Norte and Biznaga, while Alanis Morissette, Love of Lesbian i amics, Viva Suecia, Kaiser Chiefs and Mexicans Hermanos Gutiérrez will close the festival.
Jordi Herreruela, the festival’s director, has also confirmed that the festival will focus on artists whose attitude and way of making music show a combative commitment. He also announced that they are working on the possibility of adding a sixth stage to the festival’s structure.
Day tickets and full festival passes, with prices ranging from €45 (+ booking fee) for Wednesday and Thursday tickets to €156 (+ booking fee) for the 4-day pass, are available on the festival’s official website.
