The British band Porridge Radio have announced a few hours ago that they will be splitting up as a band once they finish their European tour, which will start next week and which, luckily for us, includes 4 concerts in Spain.
The Brighton band, led by Dana Margolin, have announced the news as well as the release of a new EP entitled The Machine Starts to Sing (2025), which features songs recorded during the sessions for Clouds in the Sky They Will Always Be There for Me (2024) and will be released on 21 February via Secretly Canadian. They have also unveiled the first single from the EP entitled ‘Don’t Want to Dance’.
Margolin himself said “This is the last new music from Porridge Radio and marks the end of the band. The songs on this EP are an important part of Clouds in the Sky They Will Always Be There for Me, and mean a lot to us. We are excited for you to hear them. This band has been our life, we’re family now. These tours will be our last. Thanks so much for listening “.
