The line-up for Barcelona Rock Fest 2025 continues to unfold. After the announcement of Running Wild at the end of July and the confirmation of Scorpions, Judas Priest and Slipknot in recent weeks, today we have learned that the legendary Savatage will also be part of the Catalan festival.
On Thursday 26th June, the American band Savatage, responsible for some of the best progressive metal albums of the 80s, will be coming to Barcelona for the first time in 23 years. The band will perform with its classic line-up: John Lee Middleton, Zak Stevens, Chris Caffery, Jeff Plate and Al Pitrelli, with the only absentees being the founders, the brothers Criss and Jon Oliva, the former due to his death in a car accident in 1993 and the latter due to his recently confirmed health problems, suffering from multiple sclerosis and Ménière’s syndrome.
Tickets for the festival, which will take place at the usual Can Zam venue from 26 to 29 June 2025, are now available on the festival’s official website.
