The historic Cock Sparrer, a British band that played a key role in the punk rock movement of the late 70s and first half of the 80s as one of the founding bands of the Oi! movement, have announced that they will be playing two concerts in Spain at the end of the year, marking their return to our country after their recent successful performance at the Mondra’N Roll 2024 Basque festival.
The concerts, which will be used to promote their latest album Hand On Heart (2024), will take place on Friday 13th December at the Sala La Paqui in Madrid and on Saturday 14th December at the Sala Paral-lel 62 in Barcelona, with CRIM from Tarragona and London’s Crown Court as support acts. Tickets, priced at €37.5 (+ booking fee) in advance and €45 at the door, are now available on the official website of HFMN Crew, the promoters of the concert.
HFMN Crew’s press release on the tour is as follows: “After headlining MONDRA & ROLL and showing us once again that they are the best street punk rock band on the planet, Cock Sparrer are coming to present their new album ‘Hand On Heart’ in the cities of MADRID and BARCELONA. These will be two very special shows in small venues where we know they will perform better and you can enjoy them like never before. They promise to play songs from the new album, some songs they haven’t played recently and some other surprises. Don’t miss the two shows by CRIM, one of the most active bands on the Spanish punk rock scene, who are returning to Barcelona after filling the Razzmatazz hall last year to present their new album. The bill will be rounded off by Crown Court, one of the leading bands in the new English street punk scene. .”
