The Asturian festival Tsunami Xixón has today announced the first names of its line-up for the 2025 edition, which will take place on 18 and 19 July 2025 at its usual venue, the Parque Hermanos Castro in Gijón.
Among the three confirmed names, we can highlight the reunion of the Sex Pistols (Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock), with our beloved Frank Carter on vocals, to perform their mythical album Never Mind The Bollocks (1977) in its entirety. We will also be able to enjoy Thirty Seconds To Mars, who will present their latest album It’s the End of the World But It’s a Beautiful Day (2023), and the Swedes Refused, spearhead of post-hardcore in this century, who will include the Asturian capital in their farewell tour.
In addition to the festival itself, which takes place during the summer, the Tsunami Xixón Festival organises a series of parallel and free activities throughout the year in different parts of the city, such as concerts in the Cimadevilla skate park, or different film cycles such as Tsudocu (which focuses on documentaries about the world of music) or Conciertos imposibles (a cycle of concerts shown in cinemas).
Tickets and season tickets for Tsunami Xixón 2025 will go on sale on Wednesday 30 October at 12:00 on the festival’s official website.
